Fire Services Museum of Victoria

The Fire Services Museum of Victoria is an organisation dedicated to the preservation and showcasing of fire-fighting memorabilia from Victoria, Australia and overseas. We bolster one of the largest collections of fire-fighting memorabilia in Australia, and are located in one of our prized exhibits; the original headquarters of the Metropolitan Fire Brigade (MFB) on the corner of Gisborne St and Victoria Parade, East Melbourne.

Today the museum is run completely by volunteers each with a unique background with the fire services. Some being former and members of FRV, MFB, Country Fire Authority (CFA), Department of Sustainability and Environment (DSE) and many more other fire-related agencies.

We are usually open Thursday & Fridays 9 - 3 and Sundays 10 - 4.

Tickets are available at the Door with Entry fees as Follows:

Adults - $10
Family Tickets (2 Adults, 2 Children) - $18
Children under 5 enter FREE!
